BitGo is seeking an Associate General Counsel for the APAC region in Singapore to oversee legal and regulatory affairs, manage a regional team, and provide counsel to leadership. Key Responsibilities
- •Formulate and execute the regional legal strategy aligned with overarching global business objectives
- •Serve as the primary legal advisor to the APAC leadership team on high-stakes commercial ventures and regional expansions
- •Oversee corporate governance regulatory compliance and government relations across all APAC markets
- •Guide the regional team through complex multijurisdictional regulatory landscapes including data privacy and financial frameworks
- •Manage disputes employment matters and corporate transactions within the region alongside external counsel
- •Recruit mentor and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals across regional hubs

Experience and Qualifications
- •Professionally qualified lawyer in Singapore or another major common law jurisdiction with exceptional academic credentials
- •Minimum of twelve years of experience with significant time spent leading regional matters in-house
- •Deep knowledge of the legal and regulatory environments across key APAC markets such as Southeast Asia Australia and Greater China
- •Proven track record of managing distributed legal teams and navigating complex multijurisdictional challenges successfully
- •Outstanding commercial acumen with an ability to balance strict legal compliance against fast-paced business growth
- •Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills necessary to bridge regional operations with global headquarters
