Overview

Join Plata as a Collection Analyst to build a new Collections function in Colombia. Utilize your analytical skills to design processes, improve performance, and make a direct impact on business results. We are looking for a highly skilled Collection Analyst to join our Collections team. We're launching a new business line in Colombia and looking for a senior analyst who will help build the entire Collections function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • โ€ขDesign, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments to identify the best strategies for improving repayment rates, agent productivity, and customer contact efficiency.
  • โ€ขDevelop and refine performance metrics, agent incentive models, and operational KPIs.
  • โ€ขCollaborate with Product, Risk, and Operations teams to identify growth opportunities, test process changes, and measure business impact.
  • โ€ขBuild and automate data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring systems to ensure timely, actionable insights.
  • โ€ขForecast performance and model financial outcomes to support decision-making in collection strategies and resource allocation.
  • โ€ขCommunicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and translate data into business actions.

Requirements

  • โ€ข3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Collection Analytics, CRM Analytics, Risk Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
  • โ€ขStrong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • โ€ขExperience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Superset, Power BI, or similar.
  • โ€ขUnderstanding of data validation, data quality checks, and analytical reporting.
  • โ€ขHands-on experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering.
  • โ€ขExperience designing or improving business processes, not only reporting on them.
  • โ€ขStrong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • โ€ขSelf-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
