What you'll do
- •Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines related to Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) in UAE (e.g. UAE FIU and ADGM Rulebook requirements).
- •Work closely with FCI, Global Sanctions Operation and the local ADGM compliance teams to review, adjudicate and report in a timely manner any suspicious activities that may indicate potential money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions and other criminal activities.
- •Partner with relevant internal stakeholders to strengthen quality of SARs and other external reporting to the UAE FIU, and ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness.
- •Ensure that applicable regulatory reporting timeframes as per the UAE FIU reporting requirements are met.
- •Proficient in compliance applications and programmes, regulatory reporting, local compliance requirements and international best practice.
- •Good knowledge on provisions of local laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable to subject persons, and knowledge of upcoming regulation on virtual currency.
- •Participate in internal and external programs related to AML/ CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day to day work requirements.
- •Action any general administration and ancillary activities as may be required and related to the above functions, in accordance with the business requirements of the Company a local / ADGM regulatory requirements.
- •Support the local Compliance Management team with the implementation of new initiatives and improvements related to systems, policies and procedures.
