What you'll do
- •Monitor, analyze, and interpret regulatory developments, with a primary focus on African markets.
- •Identify compliance vulnerabilities, assess operational risks, and recommend strategic improvements across the business.
- •Ensure strict adherence to AML, CTF, Responsible Gambling, Data Protection, and licensing regulations.
- •Develop, update, and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
- •Perform risk-based internal audits and maintain up-to-date AML, Responsible Gambling, and operational manuals.
- •Prepare detailed compliance assessments, audits, and monthly regulatory reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- •Conduct regular compliance checks on new content releases and complete monthly website and social media compliance reviews.
- •Collaborate with operational and support teams to implement compliance policies and evaluate their effectiveness.
- •Work actively across key compliance areas, including AML, CTF, Gambling Legislation, IBIA standards, Advertising, and Data Protection.
- •Support development and product teams in delivering new product compliance features.
- •Oversee flagged client reviews regarding AML and Responsible Gambling concerns.
- •Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the role and comply with the labor code.
