Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial marketing teams to design and analyze experiments related to personalization efforts, including audience optimization, generosity mechanics and generosity delivery.
  • Compile results and present insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.
  • Continue the advancement of a cross-functional experimentation program.
  • Be a thought leader in identifying and evaluating tools and capabilities to advance our practice, including opportunities for automation.
  • Introduce advanced statistical techniques to support data analysis and insight generation.
  • Drive culture of experimentation throughout the Sportsbook business through initiatives to educate organization on experimentation best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering) is preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Experience with experimental design, A/B/n testing, and use of statistical analysis.
  • Experience with analysis or experimentation of personalization efforts, a plus.
  • Advanced SQL skills required.
  • Experience with statistical programming tools such as Python, R or SAS preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work through ambiguity and deliver solutions to business problems.
  • Lives the “we are one team” mentality. Works with various teams across the organization to understand their needs and get things done.
  • Commercial acumen: understanding of P&L, business principles and commercial levers.
  • Presents clearly and with impact to a wide range of stakeholders and keeps stakeholders updated with relevant and timely information.
