What you'll do
- •Ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of critical equipment across operations.
- •Identify potential failures and develop preventive maintenance strategies.
- •Manage equipment and technology life cycles (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
- •Supervise functioning of complicated equipment and solve difficult problems.
- •Participate in new product equipment design and implementation.
- •Conduct New product introduction (NPI) stress testing.
- •Ensure operational equipment preventive maintenance and everyday functioning of the field.
- •Evaluate equipment overall performance, reliability, and safety.
- •Order necessary equipment and materials.
- •Research and consult top management about the purchase of expensive/specific equipment.
- •Define actions, including delivery needs, documentation requirements, and procurement models.
- •Cooperate with internal and external parties (suppliers, contract partners, etc.).
- •Support Equipment Unit globally and provide technical training for equipment specialists.
- •Complete required technical and regulatory documents.
- •Manage the work of junior engineers or technicians.
- •Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- •Coordinate with other departments for operational and implementation tasks.
- •Perform other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
