Overview

Leapsome is seeking a German speaking Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize paid campaigns, lead creative strategies, and work closely with various teams. This full-time role offers a hybrid work model and competitive salary. Leapsome is a fast-growing scale-up aiming to reach over two million people by 2025.

What is your job?

  • Media Buying
  • Hands-on keyboard experience with managing and optimizing paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • Experience in building out full funnel campaigns (Brand Awareness, Consideration, Conversion, Retargeting).
  • Write, test, and optimize ad copy, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing paid media budgets, along with forecasting and budgeting for paid media channels.
  • Proficient in translating data into insights using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Work closely with Growth, Product Marketing, and Design teams to develop effective campaigns.
  • Creative Strategy
  • Lead the creative learning agenda, focusing on performance acquisition, creative strategy and development.
  • Write converting creative briefs for UGC creators and in-house Design teams.
  • Strong project management and communication skills to manage and direct static/video editing reviews, paying close attention to transitions, text placements, hooks, etc.
  • Drive continuous innovation by integrating creative performance insights, creative trends (both paid and organic), and customer insights.
  • Experience with conducting creative research through platforms like Ads Library, as well as, deep dive into customer research.
  • Curiosity to explore and apply AI tools for generative creatives, ad copy, and workflow improvements.

Who are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience working in a performance marketing team at a brand or agency, focusing on hands-on keyboard experience with paid search, paid social channels and creative development.
  • Professional working efficiency (B2 level minimum) in German with proven ability to write high-converting German ad copy and adapt campaigns for German-speaking audiences.
  • Passion for combining storytelling with data to create high-converting ad creatives.
  • Experience in directing creative teams, agencies, and UGC creators.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing technologies, media buying strategies, and how to impact performance marketing critical metrics with campaign optimizations and creative strategies (CPA, CVR, CTR, etc.).
  • Outstanding organizational skills and experience with project management systems.
  • Experience in using Google Analytics or equivalent analytics platforms.
  • An experimental mindset and curiosity about applying AI tools in marketing workflows.
  • Experience with creative analytics platforms such as Motion is a plus.
