Overview

ICON Finance is seeking a Head of Sales to build and scale sales operations from scratch in a remote full-time role. Competitive salary and benefits offered. ICON Finance is a B2B financial service: OTC, wire transfers, crypto-fiat operations. We are growing rapidly and looking for someone to build sales from scratch, sell personally, and eventually create a team to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • โ€ขMonths 1โ€“6 (Operational Phase):
  • โ€ขFull audit of current sales state: conversion, average check, bottlenecks โ€” documented and presented to CEO
  • โ€ขDefine ICP and outbound strategy from scratch
  • โ€ขPersonal pipeline: outreach, discovery calls, commercial proposals, closing (initially done personally)
  • โ€ขWork with objections in real negotiations
  • โ€ขIdentify upsell opportunities with existing clients
  • โ€ขClean handover of clients to Operations after closing โ€” without loss of information
  • โ€ขCoordination with Legal/Compliance and Finance
  • โ€ขTransfer insights from clients to Product
  • โ€ขMonths 6โ€“12 (Scaling Phase):
  • โ€ขHire and develop 2โ€“3 sales managers (hunters and farmers)
  • โ€ขCreate sales playbook: qualification logic, scripts, deal stages, work with objections
  • โ€ขDevelop partnership and agency channels for acquisition
  • โ€ขSustainable, predictable pipeline with regular reporting to CEO

How Results Will Be Measured

  • โ€ขMain metric - profit per deal and growth of B2B client base, not turnover. Specific targets agreed at the start.
  • โ€ขLeading indicators: number of discovery calls per week, volume of active pipeline ($), outreach contacts per week.
  • โ€ขFinal indicators: new B2B clients per month, closed deals, average check (goal: $50K+), margin per deal (%), team plan fulfillment (%) โ€” after hiring.

Conditions

  • โ€ขWork format: full-time, fully remote. No micromanagement โ€” you are responsible for results, not hours.
  • โ€ขSalary: $2,000 โ€“ $3,000 / month (depending on experience)
  • โ€ขBonus: tied to results (agreed at the start)
  • โ€ขProbation period: 3 months
  • โ€ขVacation: flexible system โ€” +5 days each quarter, up to 20 days available at any time, unused days carry over.
  • โ€ขSick leave - unlimited, no questions for the first 5 days.
  • โ€ขTraining: 50% of course costs compensated by the company by default, up to 100% with a business case. Internal training fully covered.
  • โ€ขWorkspace: coworking compensation up to 200 USDT per month โ€” submit a receipt, receive with salary.
  • โ€ขBusiness trips: economy class flights, comfortable accommodation, per diem of 40 EUR per day.
  • โ€ขBonuses: birthday bonus (automatically, depends on grade), work anniversary bonus (increases each year).
  • โ€ขReferral program โ€” bring someone to the team, receive 50% of their first monthly salary after passing the probation period.
  • โ€ขDirect access to founders, quick decisions, no corporate layers.

Requirements

  • โ€ข3โ€“5+ years in B2B sales, Senior level with personal deal closure, not just team management
  • โ€ขExperience building a sales funnel from scratch - without ready infrastructure, warm leads, or scripts
  • โ€ขExperience managing a team of sales managers
  • โ€ขUnderstanding of the fintech/crypto market at the product level: OTC, wire, crypto-fiat
  • โ€ขExperience with AI tools in daily processes (ChatGPT, Claude, AI CRM, etc.)
  • โ€ขStrong negotiation skills, experience with large checks ($50K+ per deal)
  • โ€ขIndependence - set tasks for yourself, do not wait for micromanagement
  • โ€ขEnglish B2+ (written and spoken, for client work)
