Responsibilities

  • β€’Monitor, analyse and interpret regulatory developments across multiple gambling jurisdictions.
  • β€’Provide clear, practical, and independent regulatory advice to internal stakeholders.
  • β€’Conduct substantive legal research and regulatory analysis.
  • β€’Manage regulatory queries from the business.
  • β€’Identify and escalate novel, complex, or high-risk regulatory issues.
  • β€’Lead regulatory impact assessments for new products and initiatives.
  • β€’Drive cross-functional engagement to embed regulatory requirements.
  • β€’Manage the preparation and submission of gaming licence applications.
  • β€’Maintain and develop regulatory registers and documentation.
  • β€’Prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
  • β€’Assist in the development of regulatory policies and frameworks.
  • β€’Provide regulatory input into compliance monitoring activities.
  • β€’Support junior members of the Regulatory team.

Requirements

  • β€’Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
  • β€’3–4 years post-qualification experience in regulatory, legal, or advisory roles.
  • β€’Experience in multi-jurisdictional gambling regulation and licensing.
  • β€’Strong legal research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • β€’Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • β€’High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • β€’Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
