🎯 Key Responsibilities Own day-to-day financial operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting for VBet Romania Prepare and present financial reports for senior management, providing clear business insights and recommendations Collaborate with Regional Directors and HQ Finance on financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning Participate in management meetings, presenting finance-related updates, risks, and recommendations Review, analyze, and approve business contracts, ensuring financial compliance and accuracy Lead the budgeting process for VBet Romania, including planning, forecasting, consolidation, and presentation to HQ and local management Monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and support continuous budget optimization Oversee monthly payroll calculations, verify taxes, supervise employment and service agreements, and coordinate with local HR and Legal teams Analyze Romanian tax legislation, monitor regulatory changes, and recommend tax optimization strategies Manage reconciliations with partners, debtors, and creditors to ensure financial accuracy Oversee finance-related tasks within HQ Jira and ensure timely completion Monitor invoicing processes in accordance with internal accounting and payment procedures Prepare payment schedules and ensure compliance with approved cash flow plans Act as the primary finance contact for HQ centralized teams, local management, and external financial advisors Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting, tax, and gaming regulatory requirements 🛡 Core KPIs You Will Drive Accuracy and timeliness of monthly and annual financial reporting

Compliance with Romanian accounting, tax, and gaming regulations Timely submission of statutory reports (ANAF, SAF-T, ONJN, etc.)

Successful completion of reconciliations and financial controls Continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting quality 💼 Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance management, or auditing Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting legislation and statutory reporting requirements (ANAF, D300, D390/D339, SAF-T, D100, etc.)

Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
