What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day finance operations and end-to-end accounting for assigned entities, covering transaction booking, payment and expense review, and cash monitoring.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and reporting schedules are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and review management accounts, statutory financial statements, Group reporting packages and variance analyses in accordance with IFRS/HKFRS and Group policies.
  • Reconcile bank, exchange, wallet, digital asset, trading and intercompany balances, and coordinate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Handle statutory audits and tax reporting for assigned entities, including the preparation of audit schedules and timely responses to enquiries.
  • Maintain effective financial controls and accounting documentation, drive process improvements and automation, and support new business initiatives and ad hoc projects.

What We Look For In You

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or a recognised professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit or finance operations; Big 4 and commercial experience in financial services, fintech or digital assets are preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience in financial close, multi-entity reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory audits and management reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS; experience in accounting for digital assets is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight reporting deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle, ERP systems or data analytics tools is an advantage.
