Overview
Mercury is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to support its Internal Audit function, focusing on IT and security audits, risk assessment, and compliance within the fintech sector. Mercury is building a complete finance stack for startups. We work hard to create the easiest and safest banking experience possible to simplify entrepreneurs' and business ownersβ financial lives. To accomplish this mission, not only do we have to build/maintain a magical banking platform but must also develop and uphold the trust and safety of our customers and the financial industry.
What you'll do
- β’Assist in identifying, analyzing, and assessing risk, specifically IT, cybersecurity, and data security related, throughout Mercury
- β’Scope and plan multiple audits across Mercury products and operations
- β’Conduct process walkthroughs and execute audit testing to confirm the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls
- β’Assess compliance with Mercuryβs compliance obligations
- β’Socialize, document, and report audit issues identified
- β’Collaborate with teams to develop appropriate action plans, track audit issue remediation, and conduct issue follow up testing
- β’Other duties as assigned
Conditions
- β’The total rewards package includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
- β’Salary ranges for this role:
- β’US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $132,400 - $165,500 USD
- β’US employees outside of these areas: $119,200 - $149,000 USD
- β’Canadian employees: CAD $125,100 - $156,400
