What you’ll do
- •Lead the UX research function for the Advanced Trade team, partnering closely with Design, Product, and Data to turn user insights into actionable product ideas and measurable impact.
- •Conduct mixed-methods research, including interviews, usability testing, concept testing, surveys, and in-product feedback (Sprig), tailored to sophisticated, hard-to-reach trader populations.
- •Synthesize qualitative findings with quantitative data and analytics to produce clear research reports with actionable design and product recommendations.
- •Build and maintain scalable research programs (customer councils, self-serve testing cadences, sales insight synthesis) that keep the team continuously connected to user needs.
- •Guide stakeholders across product, design, and data through translating research insights into roadmap priorities and experiment hypotheses.
Pay Transparency Notice
- •Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $167,280—$196,800 USD.

Required Skills and Experience
- •5+ years of user research experience, including serving as the primary research point of contact for a large product area with multiple stakeholders.
- •Proven ability to design and execute research with sophisticated, hard-to-reach populations, such as professional or high-frequency traders.
- •Fluency in quantitative data and experimentation, with demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative insights with metrics to influence product strategy.
- •Track record of independently managing research prioritization across competing stakeholder needs while guiding designers and PMs through their own research efforts.
- •Familiarity with crypto trading, financial markets, or trading platforms preferred but not required.
- •Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
