What you'll do
- •Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions across front-end, back-end, and database layers.
- •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- •Contribute to system architecture, technical design, API design, and platform enhancements while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- •Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL Server databases, and system integrations.
- •Ensure software quality through secure coding practices, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
- •Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements to ensure system reliability.
- •Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and take ownership of features from design through deployment and production support.
- •Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for user stories, spikes, solution designs, API specifications, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- •Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and software delivery while adhering to engineering standards.
- •Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices, contributing ideas that improve product quality, team efficiency, and long-term maintainability.
Conditions
- •The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $50,482-$115,000 USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting.

- •Base pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
