What you'll do
- •Learn the skills needed to acquire and become a successful Buyer/Planner in the Gaming/Lottery Technology industry.
- •Manage assigned materials and inventory through MRP/SOP/GOM to meet Department goals & objectives.
- •Perform daily and weekly interactions with various departments.
- •Convert purchase requests to purchase orders.
- •Execute routine buying processes.
- •Complete routine tasks and learn problem-solving techniques.
- •Plan and execute the purchase of specific products or services.
- •Identify purchasing requirements based on received requisitions.
- •Select approved suppliers based on price and availability.
- •Order parts and arrange for delivery.
- •Place follow-up calls to confirm and/or modify delivery of purchased materials.
- •Arrange for prompt return of damaged or faulty supplies.
- •Foster mutually respectful relationships with suppliers.
- •Maintain purchasing databases to ensure data integrity.
