Overview
Join paytech as a QA Engineer in Limassol, ensuring the reliability of payment integrations. Work closely with teams to enhance testing efficiency and prevent financial risks. As a QA Engineer on the Payment Integrations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and correctness of integrations with external payment providers (PSPs).
What you'll do
- •Participate in SDLC for integrations: requirements analysis, API contract review, testing, and release validation;
- •Test end-to-end payment flows;
- •Perform risk-based testing;
- •Perform contract testing;
- •Simulate provider responses using tools (proxies, mocks);
- •Investigate integration issues and production incidents;
- •Maintain test artifacts (checklists, integration requirements, test reports);
- •Improve QA processes to increase testing speed and reduce production incidents.

Must Have
- •3–5+ years of experience in QA;
- •Able to learn quickly;
- •Able to read and debug Java code;
- •Experience in payment systems / PSP integrations / fintech;
- •Strong experience in API testing (REST, JSON, Postman, Swagger);
- •Understanding of asynchronous systems;
- •Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- •Attention to detail in financial data and transaction correctness;
- •Experience with Git;
- •English sufficient for technical communication.
Nice to Have
- •Experience with API test automation (Java / TestNG / RestAssured / etc.);
- •Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins);
- •Experience with proxy tools (Charles, Proxyman, Fiddler, mitmproxy);
- •Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Kibana);
- •Experience with Allure / reporting tools;
- •Experience with performance testing (k6, JMeter).
